Well, let me welcome you into the studio at Sarah Branaghan Photography. This is my little slice of heaven and where I love to make magic happen and snuggle some adorable little babies.
After what seemed to be a long and tedious process, I finally have ended up with my dream studio. It didn’t happen how I expected it either. After having some difficulties at was once my first studio, I ended up in a friend’s basement for a while. While I was beyond grateful for her and her hospitality, it was short-lived. I really had to move and find something else, cause well… my life is chaotic and it would just work out that way. So on the hunt for some magical places and I wasn’t coming up with anything. It was too small, or too expensive for such a small place, or it just wasn’t the right location. To be honest, I got very lucky at my first studio and was paying ridiculously cheap rent… like I got super lucky. After looking at commercial and retail places I got sticker shock and to be honest I felt at a loss and wasn’t sure how I was even going to make this happen. To be honest, I was ready to work out of my house again at this point until I found what I was looking for. I was super discouraged!!!! But somehow a friend had shared a website with me and I found the most amazing space. It had the perfect combination of natural light and some dark areas where I could still use studio light. I mean this place was my dream space. It needed work and to be honest, at this point I was trying not to get my hopes up. It always seems that when something is too good to be true, it usually is. BUT, I got lucky and things worked out very well. It needed tons of work and to be honest, I am super pissed off at myself for not taking before pictures… like SUPER PISSED! But you get to see the end result and that is what really matters.
It’s super cute and cozy and did you know I have everything there for your baby!!! You don’t have to bring anything but your baby and maybe some milk and yourselves. I have tons of props, backdrops, outfits, hats, headbands, etc…
