Mama had contacted me looking for newborn pictures for her baby girl, only she was 3 weeks new. It seems that a lot of photographers won’t go past that 10- whatever days new when it comes to a newborn session. Well, I am different, I am always up for the challenge. Let’s be honest, I have done newborns up to 5 weeks old and they have been my best sleepers. Granted that always doesn’t happen and babies usually aren’t as flexible when they get older. But it’s not impossible.
Anyways back to the story, I have talked to Elizabeths mama and she was the sweetest. We had talked and made plans for her newborn session. Then, she shows up with these stunningly gorgeous babies…. ummm hello, models here! I was so excited!! Elizabeths mama had also brought along her older brother, which I wanted to keep him. I mean really, I would keep all these kiddo’s, I love them that much. So now to the bad part… session is going great and then…. no power!!! WHAT!!!!! Yep, no studio lights, no heaters… ugh what is going on. Looks like a fuse blew. Long story short, it took them forever to fix it and we made this session spectacular. It has been a while since I have shot inside with natural light. But it turned out amazing and I may have grabbed some individuals of big brother Mason, cause he so adorable.
